Microclimates can be easily countered. One simply needs to introduce more vegetation or bodies of water. Since it is harder to make artificial ponds or lakes, people can create gardens or living walls like our school.
|
Living walls are plants hanging from a vertical planter that can be placed parallel or against a wall. This allows the heat to be more balanced and stay cooler when it's hotter out or warmer when it gets cold. Click HERE to learn how to construct your own hanging garden from water bottles.
